Looking for a positive change in your future?

In my search to find and define my purpose, vision and mission I kept getting slapped upside the head with the idea that “some things MUST change.”  Then the term change agent came to mind!

The only definition I found on Google was from Dennis Stevenson on Toolbox.com which pretty much fits my purpose, mission and vision.

M.L.K Jr. was a successful change agent.

Martin Luther King Jr. 1965 Oberlin Commencement Speech

“For some strange reason I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be.  And you can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be – this is the interrelated structure of reality.”   Read the entire speech here.  It’s filled with passion and purpose.

The evil never wins unless         we quit trying.

While I’m not referring to the issues of racial inequality as M.L.K. delivered at Oberlin commencement. I am referring to another type of revolution.

The revolution I’m referring to may not be publicly known or maybe I’m helping instigate it, and that is to work toward creative, positive change.  A revolution that will benefit our economy, environment, expand our employment possibilities.

I am also reading Wallace Wattle’s The New Science of Getting Rich.” And I’d like to quote Wallace here, ” What I want for myself, I also want for everybody!”  I am working to be a change agent – an agent for change by doing right for the good of all.

Just to make myself clear, “getting or being rich” has different meanings for different people. I consider myself rich in faith, hope, love, in friendships and family relationships, as well as my outlook on life.

Of all the gazillions of web sites out there, a good majority are here only for the purpose of making money.  And yes, I plan to get to that point also, which can only happen when my efforts benefit others in the process.  I’m working toward being the change I want to see in the world:” (Mahatma Gandhi.)

As I attempted to convey yesterday, “We’re all completely different yet we’re all in the same soup.”

In order to effect a change we must find our passion and create it in this empathy-driven economy.  As a disabled entrepreneur you can create another source of income & decrease the threat of loosing your S.S.D.I. and Medicare.

Create something that enhances everyone’s life.  YOU have something that the world needs you to share…everyone does.  There is no need to hurry, there is plenty of the necessary Substance to go around for everyone.  Enough money, enough resources, and enough time.

The question remaining is do you have enough passion and enough desire for change?

“The time is always right to do what is right”…M.L.K.  In this new empathy-driven economy we must create, carve out our own niche’ and share it with the world.

  • It is always right for you to share your gifts and talents with the world…You can do it.
  • It is right for you to put your trash in the trash can where it belongs instead of on the bus bench,
  • to take a little more effort to recycling what you can,
  • to help a neighbor when the need presents itself,
  • to be less aggressive on the road,
  • to smile at everyone you meet.

The revolution I’m working to perpetuate is that “There Is Enough For Everyone WHEN we Create instead of seeking to Compete.”
